I love getting to know each of our patients and their families personally. Because orthodontic treatment takes time, and most patients come in once a month, we have the time to interact and talk about our lives. Our patients become our friends, and that’s a very good thing. I love seeing them grow up and watching their self-esteem develop as their teeth straighten and their new smile begins to emerge. My workday is spent providing care to our patients, whether I’m taking dental X-rays and impressions or assisting Dr. Weibel as he cares for each patient. I talk with the patient during the visit, making sure that they’re comfortable and relaxed, and providing reassurance if they’re at all nervous.
In my home life, my husband Tom and I have two sons, Thomas and Christian, and a dog named Deede. I enjoy watching my boys play baseball and basketball.
Receptionist / Front Desk
Our patients present us with endless challenges and fun. Each comes to us with their own excitement about starting treatment, and following them as their new smile is created is very rewarding. I love that we have long-term relationships with our patients, because it affords us the opportunity to get to know them as individuals. My job duties include answering our phones, greeting patients when they arrive, scheduling appointments, handling communications with referring dentists and oral surgeons, and setting up payment plans. I also take care of Bluetooth, our office betta fish who was named by one of our patients.
As for my personal life, I attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and studied home ec., education, and art. I still study art today. I have three children and several grandchildren. When I’m not working, you’ll find me painting, running, biking, hiking, and babysitting my grandchildren, grand-dogs, and grand-cat, too.
Orthodontic Laboratory Technician
I enjoy making appliances for our patients and really love seeing their smiles after they get their braces off. Orthodontics makes a big change in a person’s life and seeing how self-confident a patient is, when they realize they have a healthy, beautiful smile, is wonderful. Our whole team celebrates with them!
When I’m not here at the office, I’m likely spending time with my daughter, Myla, and our dog, Dexter. I love to dance and collect antiques, and I volunteer at the dental clinic of the Water Street Ministries rescue mission. I also help with community activities in the town of Lititz, PA.
Seeing our patients’ smiles at the end of treatment is my favorite part of my job. Their excitement at seeing their beautiful, newly straightened teeth, and realizing that all their hard work has been worth it, has all of us smiling and laughing right along with them. I spend my days working with our patients, removing appliances, taking photos, X-rays, and impressions, and assisting Dr. Weibel chairside, as he tends to each patient. I make sure he has everything he needs, but am always focused on the patient, and check to see that they’re comfortable and keep them updated on what the doctor is doing.
Outside of work, I enjoy kayaking, being at the beach, experiencing the outdoors, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with my friends and family. I live in Sinking Spring with my husband, daughter and dog Summer May.
I love meeting new people and seeing people I know from the community who come to our office. Our practice is friendly and welcoming, and our team is the best: we’re all positive and focused on providing the best experience for each of our patients and their families. My workday is patient-centered, whether I’m taking impressions or X-rays, changing wires, removing braces, or assisting the doctor chairside. I keep in touch with each patient during the visit, and make sure that they’re comfortable and relaxed — joking with those who are a little stressed, and doing everything I can to make them smile.
In my personal life, I love to ride my bike, kayak, and go to the gym. I have two sons, a stepson, a grandson, and dog named Jasmine.
I really enjoy working with our younger patients, and watching them grow up while they’re moving through the course of treatment. Seeing them mature, and their self-confidence grow as they get nearer to the perfect smile, is amazing and always makes me smile. I love the relationships we develop with our patients, and those relationships really do become friendships. Simply put, our patients are the best! Here, I help our doctor chairside, tend to the needs of the patient, talk with them about what the doctor is doing, and provide encouragement about how well they’re doing. I also take X-rays and perform some lab work, too.
I live in Millersville with my husband Don. We have a dog named Lucy, three horses, Gizmo, Snickers, and Colby, and seventeen feral cats that live in our barn. I love to ride our horses, visit my grandchildren in Iowa and Texas, and travel to Ocean City, MD, with Don.
This is a positive office, filled with laughter and smiles, and I love coming in each morning. Our team has worked together for so long that we’re perfectly meshed and everything moves smoothly, which means the best experience for our patients, and that’s what we’re all about: the patients’ experience. We’ll do whatever’s necessary to make sure each patient is smiling and comfortable during their visit. Some of my job duties include taking X-rays and impressions, helping to place braces, and assisting our doctor chairside while he treats our patients.
My family consists of my husband John, and daughter Tessa, as well as our Corgi, Tucker. I enjoy running and going to the gym.
Talking with our patients, getting to know them and their families, and watching them mature, are the best parts of my day. I love getting to know our new patients, and catching up with those who are in the middle of their treatment. Each of them always has something new to share, and hearing about their life and adventures is both entertaining and rewarding. I bring patients back to the clinic, take panoramic X-rays and impressions, fit bands, remove braces, and assist the doctor while bonding brackets. I’m also responsible for ordering orthodontic supplies for the office.
Away from work, I love spending time with family and friends, and treating their kids as my nieces and nephews. I am a big fan of Penn State football and enjoy attending games whenever I can. I love animals, including my dog Ruby, and really enjoy traveling.
It’s incredible to watch a patient’s transformation from start to finish. Not only do their teeth straighten, but their self-esteem and confidence grow too, and as they near completion of treatment you can really feel their excitement. They have a new way of walking and interacting with people, always smiling and sure of themselves. It’s an honor to be a part of that. My work duties including taking the necessary impressions and X-rays, removing braces, fitting bands, changing and adjusting wires, and, most importantly, making sure each patient is happy and comfortable while here.
My personal life is focused on my family, including my daughter Tawni, my two granddaughters Milli and Nori, my boyfriend Gary, and my cat Murphy. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, the outdoors, summer sports, kayaking, and scrapbooking.
I really enjoy talking with our patients and their families. Since we see most patients once a month, we are able to get to know them on a personal level and develop real relationships and friendships with them. It’s amazing to learn about their lives and interests, and our conversations make the day pass, fast. I greet patients when they come through the doors, answer our phone, schedule appointments, and enter payments. I also discuss and set up financial and insurance schedules, oversee daily operations and staff, and order supplies for the front office.
My home life revolves around my husband Chris, daughter Tiara, my cat named Gomez, four betta fish, and a ton of snails because my daughter loves to breed them. I enjoy going to the gym, kayaking, and scrapbooking, and absolutely love to travel and see new things.
